Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, who is set to leave Manchester United, has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Inter Miami. Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reported the news on the 21st.
According to Romano on his YouTube channel, Casemiro, whose time at Manchester United will end after this season, has virtually agreed on terms with Inter Miami. While the salary details have not been disclosed, he is expected to sign a three-year contract.
The 34-year-old Casemiro transferred from Real Madrid to Manchester United in August 2022. He immediately secured a spot in the starting lineup, scoring 26 goals and providing 14 assists in 160 official appearances across four seasons. This season, he recorded 9 goals and 2 assists in 35 official matches, contributing significantly to Manchester United securing a Champions League spot.
Inter Miami currently features Argentine forward Lionel Messi and former Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez. If the transfer goes through, the former Real Madrid player will team up with former Barcelona stars Messi and Suárez, against whom he once fiercely competed.
