British singer Ed Sheeran announced that he has left Warner Music after 15 years of working together and releasing eight studio albums. In the message sent to fans, Ed stated that his departure does not mean he was unhappy.

“I decided to leave Warner last month. I leave the company with a lot of love and gratitude for everything we achieved together. This is not a typical case of an ‘unhappy artist leaving a record label.’ I was a kid when I joined the company as a teenager, with very different priorities, and now I am the father of two children and feel that I need a change in the way I manage my professional career. I love Ed Howard and I will always love Asylum, and the doors are always open for the future.”
